Remember to do your own research!

My blog posts are all free to read. And as I said from my 1st blog post, other than posting about topics related to manifestation/the law of assumption, I also post a wide range of topics that interest me (e.g., sexual health, transnational feminism, LGBTQ liberation, my travels, etc). If people find my posts useful for them to turn their manifestations into the reality, yay, I am happy;). For like-minded folks who want to hire me as their coach, well, I am happy to be a part of your manifestation journey;). I also appreciate it that I get to post whatever I want on my blog, which helps me to express my creativity by writing in long-ish essay formats that’s challenging to do on twitter and FB.

But regardless of what I post here/what advice I provide as for manifestation, always remember: DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH!

Do your own research, practice, redefine, and improve your models as you keep learning and thinking in your life journey.

We live in a social-media obsessed era with too much information (and misinformation) out there. Regarding manifestation, there are many coaches out there who post on Twitter, You-tube, and other social media platforms regularly; online courses, and one-on-one coaching sessions are also fairly easy to find; people from all walks of lives post their manifestation journeys on twitter all the time. It’s so easy to get distracted, or feel burned out, not sure whose advice you need to listen to and accept. As I said in one of my previous blog posts titled “common mistakes from beginners”, you better mainly follow 2-3 people, don’t compare your personal journey with others, apply the techniques, and figure out which ones work for you….

“Do your own research”, such a principle can be applied to pretty much every aspect of your life. You need to find a new therapist who helps you to cope with childhood traumas, and be better at communicating with friends and lovers? Want to switch to a new career path, so you are looking for a career coach to help you figure out what you should try, career-wise? Regardless of what you do, better do not follow anyone’s (including so-called experts’) advice blindly without much thinking and investigating. Also, in most cases, you should especially be careful about blindly accepting anyone’s free advice;). Professional people with years of experiences charge their services for a reason. If people are willing to give you free emotional labor and professional advice for free, well, consider you lucky;). But remember that our time, energy, and attention are limited. In order to protect their own energy and give you the best quality of suggestions that specifically fit your particular situation, professionals have to charge….

Each one is unique with our own family history, childhood experiences, friend groups, major events from the past, and the influence of dominant social-cultural norms in our society. Some advice may work for you at this stage of your life, but you may think and do things differently as you get older, when you are in a different life stage. As you apply different rules, and learn through listen, observe, and actively practice, you will get better and better at manifestation, and so much more. And no matter what you do, whether and how you change overtime, do not lose your moral codes! Be grateful for your loved ones, and treat everyone with dignity and respect unless proven otherwise. Don’t lower your standards or change too easily just because some experts suggest us doing things differently.

Good luck out there;).
